Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Juice WRLD Vault accesses, collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information when you use the JWV Music Android application and related account services.

Juice WRLD Vault operates JWV Music and is responsible for the practices described here. This policy does not control third-party websites or services that you visit independently and that are not operated for Juice WRLD Vault.

This section applies specifically to the JWV Music Android application. The app can be used without creating an account for basic screens, while account features require the information described below.

JWV Music does not contain advertising or cross-app tracking SDKs. We do not use JWV Music app data for targeted advertising, and we do not sell personal or sensitive user data.

• Account data: display name, email address, password or other authentication information, account identifiers, and session tokens when you create an account, sign in, recover access, or keep a session active.
• Technical data: IP address, user agent, device or operating-system details, app version, request timestamps, response status, network state, security signals, and error information generated when the app communicates with the service.
• On-device data: authentication session and basic app state may be kept in the app's isolated local storage until you sign out, the session expires, or app data is cleared.
• Android permission: the current app requests Internet access so it can securely reach account and service endpoints. It does not request access to the camera, microphone, contacts, precise or approximate device location, SMS, call logs, phone state, health data, installed-app inventory, files, photos, videos, music library, or advertising ID.
• Approximate region may be inferred by infrastructure providers from an IP address, but the app does not access Android location services or request a location permission.

We collect information you choose to provide. The exact information depends on the features you use.

• Account information, including email address, authentication identifiers, display name, username, UID, rank, and account settings.
• Profile information, including avatar, banner, bio, profile links, awards, badges, and display preferences.
• Library and activity information, including liked songs, playlists, saved items, listening progress, Wrapped activity, uploads, imports, metadata, and other account-linked feature activity.
• Communications, including privacy requests, support messages, copyright notices, moderation reports, and related correspondence.
• Optional authentication information received from Google or Discord when you deliberately choose one of those sign-in methods.

When you use the service, we and our infrastructure providers may automatically collect limited technical and usage information needed to deliver requests, maintain security, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot failures.

• Device, browser, operating-system, app-version, user-agent, screen, and general diagnostic information.
• Network and server-log information, including IP address, request time, routes requested, response status, referrer, error logs, and security signals.
• Presence and feature activity, including online status, last-online time, session heartbeat, playback activity, listening-room state, and related timestamps when those features are used.
• Approximate region inferred from IP address or provider logs. We do not require precise GPS location.
• Cookies, local storage, and session data used for authentication, preferences, playback state, security, and account continuity.

We use information only for service operation, user-requested features, safety, support, and legal compliance.

• Create and authenticate accounts, maintain sessions, send recovery or confirmation messages, and prevent unauthorized access.
• Provide profiles, playlists, liked songs, awards, online presence, Listen Along, search, playback, downloads, uploads, and Wrapped features.
• Maintain security, investigate abuse, enforce Terms, moderate content, and respond to support requests.
• Detect and respond to spam, scraping, rate-limit abuse, malware, fraud, security incidents, and service failures.
• Process privacy, copyright, DMCA, takedown, counter-notice, and other lawful requests.
• Debug errors, maintain infrastructure, improve reliability, and verify that features operate correctly.

Depending on the feature and your settings, display name, avatar, banner, bio, UID, awards, profile links, public playlists, online status, and other profile elements may be visible to other users or the public.

Do not add information to public profile or playlist fields that you do not want others to see. Public information may be cached, copied, indexed, or screenshotted by others outside our control.

We use service providers to process information on our behalf and under their own security and privacy obligations. Depending on the feature, these may include Supabase for authentication and database services, cloud hosting providers for application hosting, Cloudflare for security, content delivery, and media delivery, and email providers for account or support communications.

If you choose Google or Discord sign-in, that provider processes the authentication request under its own terms and privacy policy. We receive only the account information and authorization data needed to complete the sign-in or linking action you requested.

We do not sell personal or sensitive user data. We do not share JWV Music app data for targeted advertising or cross-app tracking. We may disclose information only as described below.

• To service providers that process data for hosting, authentication, database, storage, content delivery, security, logging, and communications.
• To authorized staff who need access for support, moderation, security, legal review, or service administration.
• To courts, regulators, law enforcement, rights holders, or other recipients when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect users, rights, and service integrity.
• To a successor if the service is reorganized, transferred, or merged, subject to appropriate notice and continued protection of the information.

JWV Music and its related account services use isolated app or browser storage and similar session mechanisms for login, security, account continuity, and preferences. Removing this data may sign you out, reset preferences, or interrupt active features.

Authentication information is transmitted over HTTPS. Never send your password to support or include it in a privacy request.

Account and profile data is generally kept while an account remains active. Feature data is kept for as long as needed to provide the feature or until the account or data is deleted. Session data remains on the device until sign-out, expiration, or app-data removal.

Security logs and backend traces may be retained for a limited operational period. Legal, copyright, moderation, fraud-prevention, and abuse records may be retained longer when reasonably necessary to comply with law, resolve disputes, protect rights, or document enforcement.

You can initiate deletion while signed in through Settings, Miscellaneous, Delete your Vault account. The account is immediately deactivated and signed out. A seven-day reactivation period then begins, during which the account remains private and can be restored by logging in. If you do not reactivate it, permanent deletion is queued after that period and processed automatically; operational retries may delay final completion.

You can also request deletion without JWV Music installed by using the official public JWV Music account and data deletion page or emailing Vault Legal from the address associated with the account. That page supports deleting the entire account and associated data, or requesting deletion of specific JWV Music data without deleting the account. We may verify account ownership before processing the request. Account-linked data is deleted or de-identified, except limited records that must be retained for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, rights disputes, or enforcement integrity.

You may request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, or information about how your personal information is used and disclosed, subject to applicable law. You can also change many profile and account fields directly in Settings.

Send privacy requests to [email protected]. We may need to verify that you control the account or connected email address before acting on a request.

In the past 12 months, the service may have collected the categories described above: identifiers, account and profile information, authentication information, internet or network activity, approximate IP-derived location, user-provided content, feature activity, and support or legal communications.

We use and disclose those categories only for the purposes and recipients described in this policy. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Juice WRLD Vault is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that a child under 13 created an account, we may delete the account and related information, subject to limited legal and security retention needs.

A parent or guardian who believes a child under 13 provided information may contact [email protected].

We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect information, including HTTPS encryption in transit, authentication controls, role-based access, provider security features, access restrictions, and operational monitoring.

No online service can guarantee perfect security. Keep your login credentials private, use a trusted device, and sign out of devices you no longer control.

Juice WRLD Vault is operated from the United States and may use providers located in the United States or other countries. Information may therefore be processed in countries with privacy laws different from those where you live.

We may update this policy when JWV Music, its providers, permissions, data practices, or legal requirements change. The last-updated date identifies the current version. Material changes will be disclosed as required by applicable law or platform policy.
